Step:

  1. Blend cashews paste, wash chicken leg pieces garb all hard spices required

  2. Now marinate chicken with all spices mentioned above with whisked curd set aside for marination

  3. In a Kadai add oil drop in the hard spices like cinnamon stick, black cardamom,cloves & cumin seeds saut for a minute then pop in the chopped onions saut till almost golden

  4. Then pop in the bowl of marinated chicken leg pieces with all gravy cook for few minutes then add 1/2 glass of water cover it & let it cook for about 10 minutes

  5. Once the chicken is tender then drop in the cashews paste mix well cook for few minutes then add a tablespoon of butter once the oil separates well the dish is ready garnish it with coriander leaves & mint leaves squeeze lime juice cook for two minutes off the flame

  1. 6-8 Chicken leg pieces
  2. 2 medium size onions
  3. 1 cup curd
  4. Handful cashews (kaju)
  5. as needed Orange red food colour
  6. 1 tablespoon butter
  7. 1 teaspoon dry roasted & crushed kasuri methi
  8. 1/2 Lime juice
  9. as required Coriander leaves & mint leaves for garnishing
  10. as per taste Salt
  11. 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  12. 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  13. 1 teaspoon tandoori masala powder
  14. 2-4 Green chilis
  15. 1 teaspoon Ginger garlic paste
  16. 1 cinnamon stick
  17. 1 black cardamom
  18. 4-5 cloves
  19. 1 teaspoon cumin seeds (zeera)
  20. 2-4 cardamoms green
  21. 4-5 tablespoons Oil for cooking
