preheat oven to 375°F.
pepare baking sheet by lightly greasing it with butter or cooking spray.
in a large bowl cream together both sugars and butter until smooth.
beat in egg and brandy.
in a seperate small bowl combine flour and baking soda.
add flour mix to sugar mix and mix well.
add the white chocolate and the cranberries and stirr until well blended.
drop by heaping spoonful onto cookie sheet about 2 inches apart.
bake 8~10 minutes or until lightly golden.
remove from oven and let sit 1 minute. transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
