Step:

  1. Place a medium bowl and beaters from an electric mixer in freezer until well chilled.

  2. In chilled bowl, whip cream until soft peaks form. Gradually add confectioner's sugar and amaretto; beat until stiff peaks form.

  3. Fold in ground almonds. Spoon mixture into 12 paper lined muffin tins. Garnish with almond slices and cherries.

  4. Freeze until firm; cover. Remove from freezer about 15 minutes before serving.

Ingredients

  1. 2 cup whipping cream
  2. 1/4 cup amaretto
  3. 1/4 cup sifted confectioner's sugar
  4. 1/2 cup finely ground almonds, toasted
  5. 1 Toasted sliced almonds and maraschino cherries with stems for garnish
